Super Tackifying Resin

JT-6421 a modified thermoplastic alkyl phenol-formaldehyde resin of high performance as a substitute for alkyl phenol acetylene super tackifying resin. This product shows advantages of tackiness retention of semi products over long-term or under humid heat conditions which favors building of tires and other rubber articles. JT-6421 provides lower dynamic heat-generation for vulcanizates than general p-t-Butyl or p-t-Octyl phenolic resins do which can decrease heat-generation in tires and industrial rubber goods, prolong their life length.

Application Fields

As dispersing and super tackifying resin, JT-6421 is suited to various rubbers in production of high performance tires and diversified technical rubber articles such as conveyor belts, V-belts, industrial hoses, rubber plates, roll coverings, cables, lining materials, retread materials, etc.

Application:

1. It is recommended to incorporate JT-6421 in the beginning of mixing cycle to promote plasticity and dispersion of compounds.

2. Recommended dosage is 2-5 phr.

3. Ash content (750℃, 2h): ≤ 1.00%

4. Heating loss (105℃, 2h): ≤ 0.50%

25kg, complex paper bag, 1 ton/pallet

Safety and transport

JT-6421 is not classified as a dangerous good according to transport legislation, so it can be transported in term of non-dangerous goods. It is safe if properly used.

Storage

Two years under cool and dry conditions with original closed package from date of production.
