JT-3005 is resorcinol modified phenolic resin which is widely used in rubber adhesion systems to promote bonding strength between rubber and fibers. It can react with the methylene donors such as formaldehyde, hexamethylenetetramine (HMT), hexamethoxymethylmelamine (HMMM), etc. in vulcanization to promote adhesion properties between cords (such as synthetic fiber cords, brass plated steel cords, etc.) and vulcanizates. Comparing with resorcinol, JT-3005 is more environment-friendly and provides higher performance retention after aging.
